A hybrid of Japanese painted and lady fern. Frosty, apple green fronds emit a ghostly white light in the shade garden. Dark purple stems hold the broad stems upright. Some sun is needed to develop the color.

Care: Fertile, humus-rich soil with very consistent moisture and moderate acidity is best. Protect the young fronds from late spring frosts.
