Rudbeckia subtomentosa
[Black-eyed Susan]
Size (ships bareroot) - Gal. $6.95
Height Light
36 - 48 in. Sun Mid Summer Yellow 3 - 9

A tall more natural looking variety that also has a long bloom season. More clump-forming than 'Goldstrum' with smaller flowers but - in my opinion, better form. Very drought resistant but give it some of that good soil.

Care: Does not like overly rich soil but, yes, well-drained. Sun is best but will do okay in partial sun. Deadhead to encourage blooms and prevent self-seeding. Easily divided in spring.
