White petals droop downward away from the coppery central cone. Sweet fragrance and very attractive to butterflies. The prickliness of the leaves and stem of echinachea make them resistant to deer browsing.

Care: Be most attentive to the drainage for this variety - not quite as rugged as the purple. Echinacea are native to the eastern U.S. and are well adapted to withstand severe conditions. Light, loamy soil is best but any well-drained dirt will do. They like it sunny and hot. Deadheading spent flowers significantly prolongs their bloom time.
