Colors range from white to dusky-rose. Usually blooms as the snows melts - avoid disturbing once established. Hellebores are poisonous.

Care: Hellebores are cold season plant growing only during cold weather and rest in the summer. Avoid watering or fertilizing during the warm summer months. They like spring sunshine and cool summers in moderately rich, woodland soil with good drainage. Remove old foliage in the spring.
