Green spear shaped leaves forms a neat mound. Vivid pruple flower color. Seems to like some sun.

Care: Hostas are the backbone of the shade garden requiring very little maintenance and get better with age. Being a shade plant, moist, humus-rich soil with a neutral to alkaline pH is the rule. Slugs can be a problem - heavily textured leaves have some resistance. Cleaning foliage out of the garden in early winter will help control slugs.
