Ballooning buds & star shaped flowers. Low grower that is a prolific bloomer. Can be finicky as to where it grows - doesn't like wet feet.

Care: Compact variety. Plant balloon flowers in average to rich, well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. Taller varieties may be leggy in the shade. Deep rooted and require little maintenance. Avoid wet soils. Deadhead regularly to encourage more and more blossoms.
