Soft grayish-white, woolly leaves with spikes of deep lavender flowers. Deer don't like the fuzzy leaves.

Care: Give it good soil and lots of drainage and sun. Cut back the flower stalks right after the bloom to prevent seeding and create a compact neat plant. Vigorous spreader. Does well in dry conditions.
