Native Formflower. A compact spreader with lots of flower clusters followed by reddish foliage towards winter. Will creep through the shade garden but doesn't choke out other plants. Native to eastern woodlands.

Care: Foamflowers like a woodsy type - humus-rich, moisture retentive - soil and location. Foliage often remains nice all winter until replaced my new growth as spring warms up. Long flower period.
