A vigorous ground cover for moist, shady areas. Tiny, white, star-shaped flowers appear above a carpet of finely cut, green leaves. Use to edge pathways, hide dying bulbs and as an underplanting.
Care: Galium does best in partial to full shade in moist, acidic, well-drained soil. Though it will survive in drier soils, it may become ragged by late summer, so moist soil is preferable. This is a quickly spreading groundcover, but it can easily be kept in bounds.
