This small genus of the Aster family is easy to grow in average garden soil and will reward you with masses of flowers in the fall. The variety 'Snowbank' creates a mass of white daisies on stems that typically do not need staking. Best in mass planting or a perennial hedge. Foliage is an attractive blue-green.
Care: Boltonia tolerates hot, humid summers and are rarely bothered by pests. Average soil and sunlight is about all it needs. Divide every few years to keep it vigorous.
