Deep bronze foliage with a metallic finish - the color develops best in full sun and is most pronounced in late summer. This evergreen groundcover that can become invasive. In early to mid spring short spikes of blue flowers will stand upright amongst the foliage.
Care: Ajuga's demands are minimal in terms of growing conditions. Most any well-drained soil will do. Seems to grow equally well in sun or shade. Does well under trees. Remember it will spread aggressively so plant it somewhere it can be itself. If bordering on a lawn since it will spread into the grass.
