Crocosmia 'Lucifer'
Size (ships bareroot) - Bulbs $5.95
Height Light
36 - 48 in. Sun Mid Summer Red 5 - 9

Intense red flowers with a crimson throat. Flowers add an exotic, tropical touch to arrangements. Wonderfully exotic plant with sword-like foliage and intense bird-of-paradise type flowers. Provide a spiky element to the garden.

Care: Plant in full sun in a well-drained location. The corms can get overcrowded but division is easy and should be done every 2-3 years. One of the hardiest Crocosmias. From zone 4 north corms should be lifted and stored indoors like other tender bulbs. A deep mulch can be beneficial in zone 5 and down.
