The fuzzy, soft, gray-green foliage mounds nicely and glimmer in the early morning dew. Produces sprays of tiny, chartreuse flowers in the spring. Lady's Mantle is a clump forming, slow spreader that can be used as a groundcover but don't expect it to dominate an area - more of a filler plant.
Care: Generally prefers partial shade but can take the sun in northern areas. Lady's Mantle will do well in poor soil if provided with adequate moisture. In cool, northern climes you may find that it self-seeds. Can have some foliage disease problems in wet, humid conditions - good air movement and fungicide, if needed, will help.
